Dans le cadre de la 10e édition du Light Leaks Festival, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir le photographe français Nicolas Portnoï, invité à présenter son projet « Carolofornie », consacré à la ville belge de Charleroi.Enregistré aux Rotondes, ce podcast propose une conversation entre Nicolas Portnoï et Paulo Lobo autour du développement de ce projet au long cours, de son approche de la photographie de rue et documentaire, ainsi que du regard sensible, poétique et souvent ironique qu’il porte sur la vie urbaine et les territoires populaires.À travers cet échange, Nicolas revient sur la création de « Carolofornie » et sur son exploration photographique de la mémoire industrielle, du quotidien et de l’atmosphère humaine de Charleroi.

One of many prominent guest of this year's Light Leaks Festival in Luxembourg was Richard Kalvar, an American photographer known for his street photography and unique artistic style. Based in New York City, Kalvar has been a member of Magnum Photos since 1977. His work often features humorous and thought-provoking moments captured in everyday life, showcasing his keen observational skills and ability to find beauty in the ordinary.
